C.I.T.Y which is abbreviated for (Cleveland Is Tha Y'ILDEST) was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio and his name was created based on his experiences being raised in an area known for its wild (y'ild) activities. He is the youngest of six (6) children and grew up most of his life with in a single-parent household with his mom having to take on the roles of both mother and father. The only male figures he had as role models was his brothers whose primary goal was to guard C.I.T.Y from the streets and the harsh environment that surrounded him. The guidance given by his older sibling allowed C.I.T.Y the room to develop and nourish his passion for music and by age 11 he was writing, recording, and developing the sound that we know today. He is stated as saying " It Didn't matter. The closets, the living rooms, the basements, standing up or sitting down, it didn't matter. Just hit the record button and I'm going in". Even-though C.I.T.Y had a passion for music and a support system of siblings trying to protect him from the streets, it still wasn't enough to escape the troubles that was surrounding him every time he stepped outside his door step. As a teenager he was sentenced to two years in Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility which was that beginning of a down word spiral that almost took the freedom of attaining his dreams away from him. A day before his released his social worker called him into her office to tell him that it was mandatory for him to move to New Jersey because that's where his primary legal guardian now resided. This move at the time felt so foreign and unfamiliar, but later turned out to be an opportunity for C.I.T.Y to start over, but at the same time never forget the city that made him. He still ran into a few unwanted situations after his relocation, but now he is focused back on his music and building his Y'ILD BUNCH ENTERTAINMENT brand. He is now constantly in the studio creating more music than ever before and building his following one dedicated listener at a time.
